Both began Sam and Tod fell into the river.

Jack London was a famous American writer.His most famous book is The Call of the Wild. The story is about the adventure of a large dog in the frozen north.
Jack London was born on January12,1876，in the USA. His family was very poor and Jack had to leave to school to make money. He worked hard in many different jobs. Later Jack returned to school ,but he didnt stay long. He wrote,"Life and pocket book were too short.." In 1897,he went to Alaska to find gold. Instead he found ideas there for his storybooks. He went home and started to write. His writings were successful, and he became rich and famous in his twenties.
Jack London was not a happy man, however. He killed himself in 1916. At that time he was only 40 years old.

Someone says examination can help us go over our lessons in time and after the examination we can find how we are getting on with our studies. But we are always having too many examinations and they are also too difficult for us to get through.I find some of us have lost interest in learning lessons. 16.Summer Camp
On Saturday, we went camping, with our teachers. First we pitched the tent. then our older brothers and older sisters played game with us. At noon, we all had a delicious lunch followed by a barbecue for dinner. At night, we had bonfire and sang and danced. We didn’t sleep until 10:20 at night. But some of the boys were so noisy we couldn＇t fall alseep. I only slept for three hours. the next morning, everybody woke up very early. After exercising in the morning, we all went to see the small pigs. On the way there, we saw a lot of geese. At 10:00, we went back to eat ice cream. It was so cold. then, we all played games together. We ate lunch at 12:00. In the afternoon, we played musical instruments and sang. After that, camp was over. We had a lot of fun at the summer camp. 初中英语阅读课到底应该怎么上？临沂沂河实验学校陈秀娟十月二十八号，学校派我们一行两人去青岛观摩山东省初中英语优质课比赛。我们都是年轻教师，对能观摩高水平的讲课比赛，显得很渴望也很兴奋。一直以来，我对于英语阅读课到底怎么上，用什么样的步骤一直把握不准。内容看上去很简单，就是一篇小短文，不过就是几个句子，几个语法点。但是看起来似乎简单的东西最能看出一位老师的基本素质。怎么样能把看似简单的知识点讲的比较生动有趣，学生又比较容易接受，是我们这次学习要解决的问题之一。我个人认为，比赛的安排对于我们这些观摩学习的老师来说，能够让我们学到更多的东西。比赛是这样安排的，上午安排了四节课，但是是四个人讲同一个课题，也就是说，我们能学习到对同一篇短文四种不同的讲解方式，四种不同的插入角度，四种不同的贯穿线索。刚开始听的时候，觉得跟自己平时的思路差不多，讲的步骤大同小异。但是听的越多，才越来越觉得自己的见识浅薄。突然顿悟，原来阅读短文也可以这么讲。这次学习，我们全程观摩，感觉收益匪浅，走时带的听课本都用完了，我们还笑称，回去后不用再听课了，听课本都用完了。参加工作一年以来，在讲授阅读课时，都是沿用传统的模式，先是教授单词，然后讲解短语，最后翻译句子。这样有助于学生考试，适用于应试教育，但教学理念比较落后。阅读课，又称读写课，顾名思义就是读和写，很多老师在教授的时候往往只注意考试内容，而忽略了培养学生读和写方面的能力。在观摩学习了这么多优秀老师的课之后，本人觉得收获颇多。阅读课，在内容上大致可以分为三部分，一是单词学习，二是短文分析，三是写作。每一部分内容每个老师都有亮点，也都有自己不同的处理方式。尤其值得学习的是，由于讲课老师都是来自不同的地方，所以师生之间不是很熟悉，所以他们通常在上课之前，都会有一段时间和学生沟通熟悉一下，让学生熟悉下自己的口语表达方式，在这方面，老师可以设置不同的话题，跟学生来自由讨论。有的老师带来自己家庭的照片，与学生们分享自己的生活，当然学生也很感兴趣，所以气氛很热烈。在这个过程中，老师就可以充分的肯定学生，赞美学生，充分展现自己的亲和力，让学生们熟悉自己。能不能够让学生在最短的时间内熟悉老师。直接影响到上课学生与老师的配合程度。所以这个环节我认为是非常重要的。有的老师沟通很好，上课学生积极性比较高，气氛也比较高涨，赢得了台下阵阵的掌声。但也有的上课只能听见老师的声音，学生显得很茫然，那么这节课讲的再怎么精彩也不能是一节成功的课正式上课之后，第一部分，一般是单词，很多老师采用单刀直入的方式，最常用的方式就是出示图片，直接教授单词。优点是直观形象，学生容易记忆单词。然后学生跟读单词。为学习短文做准备。在这方面给我印象最深的是山师大附属二中的李老师，刚开始的时候，我还没意识到她是在教授单词，只听见她好像在讲一个故事，学生们也听的很认真，仿佛已经投入到故事的情节之中。她的处理方式就是，把需要学习的新单词放在句子中去学习，把句子放到段落中，形成一个故事，让学生在容易接受的同时，还能对学习英语产生兴趣。让学生意识到原来学习英语也可以边听故事边学习。在处理单词方面，我学习到了几个我个人认为比较出色的处理方式。一种是，在教授完单词之后，教师把单词融入到句子中，让学生学会运用这些单词，而不仅仅是停留在单词记忆本身。这个过程就相当于把当堂学的单词设计成了根据首字母填空。更能加深学生对单词的理解与记忆。一种是，教师自主设计一段小故事，把单词穿插到其中，让学生在语境中学习单词，而不是单纯的对单词进行读写。优点在于，学生比较感兴趣，一直以来单词学习对学生来说都是比较枯燥的。我们现在是八年级，有的老师主张单词应该放到课下去，让学生自学。因为八年级课上的任务比较重，应该培养学生自主学习单词的习惯。这要从七年级就开始培养。单词处理完之后，一般都进入到对阅读短文的处理。在这方面给我印象最深的应该是来自临沂师院附中的一位王老师，他讲的内容的重难点，是动词词组和量词的表达。如果全部放到短文中处理，可能难度很大。他的处理方式是，先把动词词组解析出来，加以练习。然后把量词解析出来单独进行练习。让学生对这了两方面先进行学习掌握，以降低短文的阅读难度。有层次的对短文进行学习。我觉得这样是针对学生的学习特点进行教授的，效果很好。分析短文的时候，给学生提供时间关键词，让学生根据时间词，来阅读学习短文。因为动词词组和量词学生已经掌握，所以，在第二部大声朗读短文之后的复述环节，学生就进行的相当轻松自如。个人认为这样的学习方法和步骤学生掌握起来最容易，而且效果最好。我们以前一直采用的方法，一般是让学生自己读，同时勾画出重点语法，词组以及难点句型。让学生自主学习。然后由老师进行讲解。一般情况下，读和写的环节就省略了。所以学生在读写方面的能力就比较薄弱。从教学目标上来说，教师只注重知识目标，过于注重课本上的知识点，侧重字面的理解和句法的分析，重视知识的灌输，忽视实践的体验，造成学生不能利用语篇中的主要信息进行积极的思考并进行有效的口头和书面的交际活动。这就是所谓的满堂灌。整个教学过程显得单调、乏味和程式化。只针对考试来训练学生是不够的。此传统的英语阅读教学不仅磨损了学生的学习英语的热情，消耗了教师的教学热情和知识能力，更把英语阅读教学推进了毫无生机的境地。对于读写课，写是非常重要的步骤，在这方面我认为来自东营的张老师处理的相当好。在写之前，他先让学生讨论分析短文是按照什么线索来描述步骤的。同学们总结出了描述步骤的时间词。然后让学生讨论分析可能用到的动词词组。最后让学生写一篇制作三明治的作文。这位老师是在教会了学生怎么写的基础上让学生写，而不是单纯的只教会了一篇作文。在此基础上，对写作进行了扩展，内容是描述做一道菜。对短文内容进行了拓展，而且学生也比较有兴趣。通过观摩学习，我认为，读包括朗读与阅读，阅读又分为泛读与精读。快速浏览，了解文章大意，找出文章所给信息点为泛读；在此基础上掌握重点单词，短语及句型。能概括文章段落大意及中心思想，能翻译文章为精读。初中学生所学知识肤浅，词汇量小，分析问题不深入。所以教师在平时的教学中，既要注重培养他们的泛读能力，更应该培养他们的精读能力，注意两种能力相结合。新课标初中英语每个单元有一两篇短文，要求学生阅读完短文后完成相应的任务：或是回答问题，或是完成表格中的信息，或是判断句子正误，或是归纳总结文章大意。类似于考试中的阅读理解题。因此在平时阅读课的教学中，培养学生独自分析问题，解决问题的能力是很重要的。在这次观摩学习的过程中，对于如何教授这篇阅读文章，我学习到了如下方法。第一步，速读。设计的目的在于，通过速读，让学生大体了解文章大意。虽然设计的目的相同，但是每个老师自己的实施手法是不一样的，可以通过速读，让学生找出文章大意。可以通过速读，让学生回答一个简单的问题，当然是老师提前设置好的。也可以设置一个表格，让学生通过阅读来补充完整。第二步就是略读，找出大体线索，一般是表示时间的词。第三步是精读，一般通过表格来体现文章大体内容。最后就是朗读。或者跟读。体现读写课的读。一般来说，读写课都要有个拓展，既把所学知识扩展到现实生活中来。然后就是写作，让学生在读的过程上，练习写。为了让学生加深记忆，一般来说，最后都有个复述过程，就是教师给出关键词，让学生根据关键词，把文章复述出来。通过这次学习，我们成长了很多。我们会把这次的经验，用到现实教学中去，把先进的教学经验融入到自己的教学中，并不断探索与更新。努力提高自己的教学水平,探索更多的教学方法, 提高自己的教学水平。
