英语阅读材料推荐！！！

可以去买《每天读一点英语》这是中英文对照，还是出自各名家之手。个人还推荐《美国历史》《美国政治》也是中英文对照是短篇短篇的。还可以顺便了解美国文化。或者是《疯狂英语》这是杂志，还附带CD可以练听力，顺便这本杂志上也是一个个的小故事，同时还将讲一些当时的实事，有娱乐的，政治的等等，个人觉得很不错。也是中英对照，下面还有单词记忆。我还读过的小书虫系列。从小学到大学有针对不懂年龄阶段的读物。但是不是短篇，应该属于中篇。故事性质很强。同时对英语写作有帮助。有帮助的话别忘了采纳哦。谢谢亲。

However mean your life is, meet it and live it; do not shun it and call it hard names.It is not so bad as you are.
It looks poorest when you are richest.The fault-finder will find faults in paradise. Love your life, poor as it is.
You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poor-house. I do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there, and have as cheering thoughts, as in a palace.
The towns poor seem to me often to live the most independent lives of any. Maybe they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving. Most think that they are above being supported by the town; but it often happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonest means. which should be more disreputable.
Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage.Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old, return to them.
Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.
热爱生活

we talked all night about the rest of our lives
